Welcome to the 2025 Family Tournament! Get ready for a full day of competition, teamwork, and bragging rights. The tournament begins on December 25th at 11:00 AM, and all games are played for points. The team with the highest total points wins, unless there’s a tie… then we go to Spades!

Team Selection Meeting — Day 1
Before the tournament, we will meet to:

Pick team names

Choose team colors

Select team captains

Assign players to each game

Team Colors to Choose From:

Orange

Green

Blue

Red

Each team has 10 players.

Below are all games played on December 25th.

Time: 11:00 AM

Players: 4–5 per team

Time Limit: 1 hour 20 minutes

Description: Teams must complete all items on the scavenger list. Driving may be required.

Win Condition: First team to complete the hunt earn the points.

Players: 3 per team | Rounds: 2

Description: Similar to musical chairs, but with colorful balls placed around a table.

Rules:

Players walk around the table while the music plays.

• When the music stops, grab a ball.
• Whoever does not get a ball is out.
  Win Condition: Last player standing earns a point for their team.

Players: 3 per team

Description: A fast-paced listening & reaction game.

Rules:

The host calls out a color.

• Players must NOT step on that color.
• Stay in the game by avoiding the forbidden color.
  Win Condition: Last remaining player wins the point for their team.
  

Players: 3 per team (6 total)

Setup: Three balls are centered in front of all players.

Rules:

The host gives commands such as “Head,” “Shoulders,” “Knees,” “Toes,” etc.

• Players must follow each command quickly.
• When the host says “Grab the ball!” the first person to grab one wins.
  Win Condition: Player who grabs the ball earns the point for their team.

Players: 4 players from one team, 1 player from the other team (blindfolded)

Description: A stealth challenge requiring silence and patience.

Rules:

The blindfolded player is armed with a pool noodle.

• Opposing players must hide and remain completely silent.
• If the blindfolded player hits you with the noodle, you are out.
  Win Condition: Team with the last standing player when time ends earns the point.

Players: 1 per team | Rounds: 5

Description: A fun and musical speed challenge.

Rules:

The host says a random word.

• First person to grab the microphone must sing a real song containing that word.
  Win Condition: Winner of each round earns the point for their team.

Players: 2 per team

Description: Standard Black Card Revoked trivia gameplay.

Win Condition: The player who wins the round earns their team the point.

Players: Unlimited (team decides who plays)

Rules: Standard UNO rules.

Win Condition: The winning player earns 1 point for their team.

If both teams end with the same number of points, the championship will be decided by Spades.

Players: 2 players per team

Requirement:

One of the players MUST be the Team Captain
Rules:

Standard Spades rules apply.

• No substitutions once the tiebreaker begins.
• Teams must win 2 out of 3 games to win the tournament.

Win Condition:

Winner of the best-of-3 Spades match becomes the Tournament Champion.

At the end of the tournament:

1st Place Team: Trophy + Medals + Bragging Rights

2nd Place Team: Trophy + Medals
